Nuppo Privacy Policy

Nuppo is a Mac app made by Supremis Financial Services s.r.o. (Company ID 23190329), Příčná 1892/4, 110 00 Prague 1, Czech Republic (“we”). This policy explains what happens to your data when you use Nuppo and its website. The short version: your screenshots, files and notes never leave your Mac. We don’t use analytics, tracking or ads.

What stays on your Mac

To do its job, Nuppo reads and stores the following only on your Mac:

• Screenshots in the folder where macOS saves them (the Desktop by default), and files in your Downloads folder, so it can show your latest ones.
• Images you copy to the clipboard, if you turn on “Keep screenshots copied to the clipboard”. These are saved in ~/Library/Application Support/Nuppo.
• Your notes and checklists, also in ~/Library/Application Support/Nuppo.
• Text recognized in images (when you choose “Copy Text from Image”). This runs entirely on your Mac using Apple’s built-in Vision framework.
• Your settings, in the standard macOS preferences.

We have no access to any of this. If you delete Nuppo and the folders above, it’s gone.

What Nuppo sends over the internet

Nuppo connects to the internet only for these two things:

1. License activation and checks. When you activate a license, and about once a week after that, Nuppo sends your license key and your Mac’s name (for example “Anna’s MacBook Air”) to our payment provider, Polar. This lets you see and manage which Macs use your license. Polar processes this data under its own privacy policy.
2. Update checks. About once a day, Nuppo downloads a small list of available versions from GitHub, where we host our releases. If there’s an update, it downloads it from there too. GitHub sees your IP address and the app version, like with any download, and processes it under its own privacy statement. You can turn off automatic update checks in Settings.

Nuppo doesn’t send your screenshots, files, notes, clipboard or usage data anywhere.

Waitlist and website

If you join the waitlist on nuppo.inflexion.cz, we store your email address.

• We use it to send you a confirmation, a beta invite and one launch announcement. Nothing else.
• We send these emails and keep the list with Resend, which processes the data on our behalf under its privacy policy.
• You can leave the list anytime by replying to any of our emails or writing to info@inflexion.cz. Once Nuppo launches, we delete the list.

The website itself uses no cookies and no analytics. It’s hosted on Vercel, which, like any host, sees visitors’ IP addresses in its technical logs and processes them under its privacy policy.

Purchases

When you buy Nuppo, the purchase is handled by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Polar collects the details needed for payment and tax (such as your email address, country and payment information). We receive your email address and order details from Polar so we can provide support and manage your license. We don’t see or store your full payment details.

Emails from you

If you contact us, for example with the “Send Feedback” button, we get your email address and whatever you write. The feedback email includes your Nuppo and macOS versions to help us fix problems. We use this only to reply to you and improve Nuppo.

Why we process your data and for how long

• Your email address and order details are needed to perform our contract with you, that is, to deliver and manage your license. We keep them for as long as your license is valid, and after that only as long as the law requires.
• Your waitlist email address is processed based on your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Emails you send us are processed based on our legitimate interest in replying to you and improving Nuppo. We delete them once we no longer need them.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• find out what data we hold about you and get a copy,
• have it corrected or deleted,
• ask us to restrict processing, or object to it,
• receive it in a machine-readable format and pass it on to another controller.

In practice, all we hold about you is your waitlist email address, your order details and any emails you’ve sent us. To make a request, just email info@inflexion.cz. If you’re not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz) or to the data protection authority in the country where you live.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
